This series originated from a story by Italian fiction writer Italo Calvino called Invisible Cities. In the story, an explorer returns to his king to tell him of the fantastic cities he saw on his journeys. It turns out, however, that although each city seems to be wildly different and imaginative, he is actually referring to the same city each time. In my series, each image originated from the same original image.
